Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Compliance Engineer who will be responsible to provide global product compliance analysis and guidance to ensure that all electrical, mechanical and other regulated performance specifications, as well as environmental and materials requirements, are satisfied in all the countries where the AWS business either exist or will expand. The candidate will interact with Development/Engineering Services, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, and other internal businesses and external stakeholders to drive global product compliance. The position is located in Seattle, and will report directly to the Manager, Compliance Engineering, within the Global Trade and Product Compliance (GPTC) Organization. AWS is at the forefront of providing a broad set of global cloud-based services including compute, storage, databases, networking, and enterprise applications, to help organizations move faster, lower IT costs, and scale. · Bachelor’s degree in electrical Engineering (or similar technical discipline). · 10+ years of EMI/ESD hands on compliance testing, data interpretation and debug experience ·10+ years of product safety design reviews, compliance feedback, and testing experience. · 10+ years of multi-product experience in submissions for official certification through relevant compliance bodies such as FCC, CE, CSA or UL. · 2+ years of experience in working with Asia-based manufacturing partners. 5+ years of experience in a fast paced work environment engaging with multiple project teams. · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s
