The Sustainability Technology team is looking for smart and talented individuals who are interested in driving the quality of software that we produce, which ultimately enables many of our Sustainability initiatives across the company. This is a growing team within Amazon and we are looking for bright and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineers (QAEs) who are skilled in test and automation to be part of this exciting new roadmap. We have been working on reducing the amount of waste and the environmental impact associated with shipping customer packages for some time now, but
· 5+ years of industry experience as part of a test team · BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience · Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Java, C, C++, C#, or Perl · Understanding of software development practices · Proven knowledge of QA concepts and methodology · Proven track record of delivering world-class excellence in user software testing/writing test automation · Experience developing test cases that provide confidence in overall quality and help to flush out issues · Proven ability to work with business and
