Amazon is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join an exciting new project team working to build a completely new best in class consumer product. As a founding member of the team, you will work alongside product management, research, design, and engineering (EE/ME) to define and build the essential lovable product. You will own driving the test strategy for large customer facing features. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define product features, shape the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field · 5+ years of hands-on experience with software project testing including · Demonstrated knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous deployment, and test suite development and maintenance · Experience utilizing automation to solve test problems · Software QA automation experience working with one or more of the following technologies: PHP, CSS, HTML, Java, Java
