We are seeking a passionate, hard-working, and talented quality assurance engineer (QAE) who has experience testing mission critical software and reusable software libraries to help shape the future of eBooks and make our content accessible and enjoyable for our customers with disabilities. Kindle is looking for a passionate and talented QAE who will help build and test the next versions of our reading and shopping software that are delightful for all customers to use. QAEs will work across the entire Kindle stack, testing new products and services tailored to making reading, shopping and purchasing great for all customers
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent · 3+ years of software quality assurance engineering experience · 3+ years of experience in QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools · Diverse QA experience on cross-platforms applications · Strong organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results · Ability to communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings · Passion for accessibility and experience
