They work with Software Development Engineers(SDE) and Software Development Engineers in Test(SDET) to understand features and technical implementation, develop test plans and test suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests, and driving the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent * 6+ year of experience performing software testing in programming languages as Java/C++ and scripting to build test automation* Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent * Knowledge of protocols, architecture, or platforms * Basic understanding of data structures * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Strong verbal and written skills * Continually seeks to innovate with new and better processes * Ability to think of the big picture
