Product Safety supports Amazon’s mission to offer the widest selection of products while protecting customers from potentially hazardous or prohibited products. The Product and Food Safety team is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Program Manager to join our team in Seattle. As safety events are reported, the successful candidate will leverage data to conduct product investigations to enforce Amazon's safety and compliance policies. This person will additionally execute continuous improvement projects to build new solutions that allow processes to scale with the growth of the business. This person will be passionate about protecting Amazon’s customers, sellers, associates and Amazon’s bottom line. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and bias for action are necessary. · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience · 2+ years program management experience · Able to pull and analyze medium to large data sets to form recommendations · Intermediate skills with Excel, Word, and other common desktop software applications · Excellent writing skills - ability to propose complex solutions and explanations in writing · Comfortable working with and presenting to leadership on escalations · Ability to work under time pressure· Regulatory experience with products safety or food safety · Experience driving process improvement with technology · MBA or relevant Master’s Degree
