Join Azure Compute Linux/OSS PM team to have an opportunity to work on a variety of projects which span many teams, include direct interaction with internal and external customers, partners, and Linux distro vendors! This is a fast-paced, highly technical hands-on position. You must have a passion for customers, technology, excellent oral and written communications skills, and strong technical skills.
As a member of the team you will assist internal and external teams and partners in onboarding, tuning and defining future business investments and driving features for well-known and specialized Linux/OSS workloads. Our team runs a number of projects building first-class Linux and OSS experiences on Azure, which include features like Serial Console, Cloud-init/Agentless VM provisioning among others. Our external partners include companies like Red Hat, GitHub, HashiCorp, DataStax, Couchbase and others to name a few.
1. Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience 2. Strong technical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently 3. Experience troubleshooting complex technical problems, documenting process and providing feedback to the development teams on it 4. Ability to drive execution across teams where necessary 5. Ability to learn on the job with necessary breadth and depth where required 6.
