If so, come join the Visual Studio Release Team ensure that our products comply with Microsoft release policies and to drive the release of Azure SDKs. This role is within the Developer Division. We create Visual Studio, which pairs world class editing, debugging, and diagnostic tools with cloud services to create developer experiences for building next-generation applications and services that target a variety of devices and platforms, including Windows, iOS, Android, Azure and more. Visual Studio: Any Developer. Any App. Any Platform. Our team is responsible for managing the release of the Visual Studio family of products, Azure SDKs, and developer services—more than 100 releases each year. We create clarity out of ambiguity; conciseness from complexity. We are continually work to make our release processes more reliable and efficient. Anticipate issues with product releases and relevant solutions before they become problems. Provide project management for all aspects of product release (focused on Azure SDKs) from concept, through planning and execution, to release, to retirement. Help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our release processes and infrastructure, including our compliance and Azure DevOps processes. Collaborate with diverse teams across the division and company to drive initiatives and to ensure all products comply with corporate release policies. Basic: At least 3 years of program management or project management experience for technical projects. Ability to master deadlines, track details others forgot, and manage multiple projects with equanimity Initiative to work well independently and with others. Ability to dive into technical details of features to make appropriate release decisions. Working understanding of Git and markdown. Preferred: Have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science, or equivalent industry experience. Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and GitHub. A customer-service approach to your work.
