Are you interested in working for one of the most exciting products in Microsoft? We are the Customer Experience (CXP) team in Microsoft Azure, and we are looking for a Program Manager to join our team. The CXP team work on a variety of technical programs to enhance how we service our customers, automation programs to allow us to scale, escalation management to help manage critical customer situations, and communications management to shape the messaging we send to our customers on a daily basis. If it matters to our customers, it matters to us. We are looking for someone who is passionate about exceeding customer expectations, who has deep technical knowledge, and who knows how to combine technical troubleshooting and Program Management to drive genuine customer-first thinking. Ideal candidates will have an IT background, Cloud Computing experience, either development or deep-dive customer support experience, and a track record of successful collaboration in a technical environment. As a PM in CXP you will focus on various programs integrating with various engineering and marketing stakeholders. The immediate program will be to solve the outage and maintenance communications for our partners resellers. How do our customers notify their customer when there is a service impacting event. Another aspect of the position, is our on-call shifts, where we work with our LiveSite teams to communicate outages to respective customers during an outage. This position will require approx. 20% of time on-call to manage urgent customer issues. Team members may also need to travel occasionally
Personal: The successful candidate must be proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of customer-first solutions, excellent communication skills, project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. The ability to move between high level customer issues and "roll up the sleeves" type of assistance across all phases of an application development project is a must.
