We are seeking a Procurement professional to support the Americas data center construction space. As a Procurement Category Manager, you will create sourcing strategies for at least one construction services category and collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers to reduce risks and costs for Amazon. You will develop mechanisms to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery. Additionally, you will drive results through methods that include competitive bidding, negotiating,
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience · · 3+ years’ experience in a Procurement organization performing vendor management, contract management, and bidding · · Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects · · Experience influencing and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization · · Strong organizational skills · · Strong business judgement and instincts · · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written · · Highly proficient in MS Office and Visio · · Ability
