The Privacy Training Strategist's primary role is to help create a culture of learning that empowers every Microsoft employee to understand the privacy implications of their use of personal data so that our employees can make the right decisions to build trust worthy, respectful products and services. The Privacy Training Strategist will also support Microsoft's Corporate Privacy Operations team. The role is based in Redmond.

Key responsibilities: Assess : Understand the privacy training and community needs of a diverse, global workforce . Operationalize : Design a n innovative privacy training system t hat includes a mix of in-person trainings, videos, podcasts and other channels for reaching engineers, marketers, customer service specialists, attorneys, and the myriad other roles that comprise Microsoft's 100,00 0+ employees . Communicate : Explain complicated ideas and systems in a straightforward, understandable way.   Tailor trainings , newsletters and other communications to individuals with various levels of
To be successful, you will need: 3 + years of practical experience in a training/education position OR 2 + years of experience in a mix of data protection , security, tech policy and /or risk management /compliance roles E xperience in the technology industry and/or a strong aptitude for understanding complex technologies Proven experience working in an independent manner with minimal oversight The ability to work across international teams and to partner well with people with diverse backgrounds and cultural experiences The flexibility to manage and balance workloads tha t may vary and be unpredictable
