MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Entity: Amazon.com Services, Inc., an Amazon.com Company Title: Principle Network Development Engineer Worksite: Seattle, WA Position Responsibilities: Confront and solve complex and high-stakes challenges, and support all aspects of connectivity to/from Amazon and the outside world, as well as the connectivity between Amazon's data centers and services. Design and architect networks that scale infinitely, and can never constrain growth or innovation. Participate in the design all of Amazon's scale data center networks to provide high bandwidth and low latency solutions for aggregating server racks, inter-connecting data centers in our regional backbone, inter-connecting our data centers to our Border network, and managing and monitoring all network devices and critical data center infrastructure. Design network topologies, architectures, and services. Design ahead of customer or technology needs, and predict and solve for problems that have not yet occurred
Position Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and 6 years of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): Experience with Unix/Linux and network automation; coding in Python, Perl, Shell, C or C++; expertise with major
