The Strategic Recruiting Team at Amazon is part of the executive recruiting organization and takes a proactive, high-touch approach to building strong talent networks in critical talent groups of long-term value and importance to Amazon. Our team has developed a scalable global framework and set of processes for acquiring senior level talent in these areas that can be reapplied to new domain areas as Amazon’s talent demand evolves. One of the critical talent groups this team specializes in is user experience / user interface design professionals. The Strategic Recruiting Team is looking to grow the Design Recruiting practice by one Executive recruiter. In this role you will partner with business leaders to define (and in some instances, perhaps, ascertain) Amazon’s immediate and long-term talent needs, develop a talent network of senior designers and leaders, and build awareness for Amazon Design in in the external design community. In the first 12 months, we expect this professional to:
· 10+ years of full-life cycle recruiting experience · Previous experience in executive search and/or recruiting creative talent is highly desired. · Experience working cross-functionally with a number of internal constituents, academics and world-class subject matter experts · Bachelor’s degree required. Additional work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.· Demonstrated success meeting hiring goals for senior or niche talent. · Experience recruiting creative talent. · Leadership recruiting experience · Previous experience recruiting passive senior candidates · Outgoing and gregarious,
