The Amazon Experts team is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to work with commercial partners in multiple verticals and create world-class Alexa enabled smart home experiences for Customers as well as drive business value to partners. In this role, you will wear many hats, including a business developer, business consultant, technical advisor, software developer and evangelist. You must possess a unique combination of business acumen and deep technical skills as well as a do-what-it-takes attitude to ensure our partners are able to take full advantage of Amazon's assets across logistics, Prime, devices, AWS, and retail. Ideally, you’re someone who is intensely curious about new domains, can dive deep and uncover insights, help guide the broader industry towards a set of solutions you believe in; and will involve technology and business model innovations. You have immediate credibility with business teams and technologists at all levels, and you can influence a broad range of stakeholders
· Ten or more years of experience in entrepreneurship, managing technology based business, or managing complex products · Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect · A technical undergraduate degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or related discipline· An advanced degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or an MBA · Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills · Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results · Experience in the real estate, hospitality or lending industry
