Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal and writing skills. In this role, you will partner with service teams including Amazon S3, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon Elastic File Service, Amazon Storage Gateway, AWS Snowball, AWS Systems Manager, and many more, to develop highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud solutions that address customer use cases and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. You will help create best practices for operating in the cloud, and help customers with solutions to build new workloads and migrate existing applications in the cloud. You will help shape and execute a strategy to build solutions for a broad range of customer use cases from new startups to large enterprise customers. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to this role. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically
· 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications · 3+ years’ experience in software development, infrastructure architecture, storage architecture, messaging, and IT operations automation · 3+ years working directly with end customers to assess needs, identify solutions, and constructively resolve disagreements · Strong knowledge of software development tools and methodologies · Technical degree required; Computer Science background highly desiredPreferred Qualifications · Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS · Experience working
