As the platform continues its rapid expansion, the focus for our team is building new, real-time, and extensible services that will guide both internal services and Azure customers around service monitoring and alerting. We strive to provide uninterrupted service at global scale, deployed to tens of thousands of systems, monitoring and alerting on billions of events in near real time, and supporting hundreds of services. We're looking for a new engineering leader to join the team. If you can coach and mentor a team of engineers, help them learn and grow, foster in them a culture of inclusion, and lead them to successfully deliver software sprint after sprint, this might be the job for you. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of development experience with experience at building at scale services 5+ years of experience leading/managing an backend engineering team. Proficiency in coding, code reviews, and technical communication. Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying, maintaining online services Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms.
