You will be leading a team writing code that powers our web portal https://account.microsoft.com which is visited by millions of customers globally a day. You'll be a technical leader focused on building a team, from a core of highly talented, collaborative and motivated engineers, while setting the technical direction to deliver the next generation of the high-scale, highly-available portal. You will work with the team to an emphasis on delightful, modern user experiences that increases the business value for the company, while defining the next generation architecture for the team, driving the
Skills and Qualifications: A proven ability to lead and develop collaborative, inclusive teams of exceptional engineers. A record of consistently contributing to user experiences for web sites that appeal to the customer's sense of style, fun, and aesthetics, as well as their functional needs. Proven experience developing web platforms and/or core web user experience components used across diverse product sites Good understanding of some web services and site technologies (for example, REST APIs , HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON etc.) and experience continually adapting to the rapidly changing UI technology
