As a Principal Software Engineer/Architect within the Industry and ISV Solutions team at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will help us to deliver on our mission to support any workload through new experiences for cloud migration, integration, and compliance. We are building a tailored set of new services that will make it easy for customers to reinvent how their industry works and unify their data and processes in the cloud. You will be part of an exceptional team that is a start-up and moving fast. You’ll have a seat at the table and will be counted on to be an influential voice in decisions related to system architecture, feature development, and product strategy. · An advanced degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or related discipline · 7+ years design/architecture/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications running on AWS · 5+ years’ experience in software development, infrastructure architecture, compute and networking architecture, edge connectivity, and IT operations automation · Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development. · 3+ years working directly with end customers to assess needs, identify solutions, and constructively resolve disagreements · Experience
