The successful candidate is supposed to lead a research effort to develop differentiating technology for the financial industry. The goal is to identify the key disruptions in the financial industry and the technology needs to implement these disruptions. Furthermore, this role will lead proof-of-concepts with customers in the financial industry. An important aspect of this role is to coordinate a V-team between Microsoft Research, Azure, and the Microsoft sales organization.
Required Qualifications: PhD in Computer Science or related 5+ years work experience in the financial industry in leading technical and strategic roles Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills The ability to work in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment Complementary expertise to the rest of the team
