Our Team:   The A zure Solutions, pattern and practices team is chartered with discovering, communicating, and promoting techniques that lead to success when engineering for the cloud. We have a long history of providing proven practices addressing real-world challenges.      Examples of our deliverables have included:   Written guidance – narratives reflecting the entire software development process, associated patterns, and tradeoffs that arise from technical decisions.   Reference implementations – real-world examples of typical application architectures shipped as source code.   Application building blocks – libraries of source code targeted at specific problem domains.     Our catalog of recent guidance is available at http://aka.ms/architecture .        The Role:   Our guidance addresses a wide array of topics, ranging from infrastructure to Big data. The core responsibilities for a Principal Program Manager on the Solutions, patterns and practices team include:   Providing strong leadership and technical expertise on guidance development projects.    Identifying the challenges that customers face when building solutions for the cloud.     Keeping up with industry trends relevant to modern cloud solutions.   Defining the goals and scope for guidance projects and setting metrics for success.   Incorporating feedback and insights from the Azure community, from inside Microsoft, and from the industry in general in order to ensure the highest quality
The successful applicant must have the following qualifications:   5+ years of technical program management or similar experiences.   5+ years experience with services and technologies of a major public cloud provider.      Additional experiences that are beneficial:    Working knowledge of design patterns and distributed system principles and ability to communicate the rationale underlying design decisions.    Contributions to open source.   Participation in developer communities.    Experience with data, analytics, or machine learning.     #devrelawesomejobs #devrelawesomejobsContent
