The scale and impact of Amazon Search is enormous, and we are looking for a principal program manager to build innovative new data that can power Search experiences that will help customers find what they need on Amazon.com. The Search Ontology and Curation team is a part of the Search Customer Experience team that is responsible for the customer-facing features, information, and look and feel of search results on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices globally. We are in the Search Organization where we launch new products and innovation on a daily basis. We partner with the teams that power search relevance, query understanding, browse, product recommendations, and category teams to improve Search via content and ontology data management. As a Principal Program Manager, you will help define and drive the strategy for the Curation and Ontology org. You will work with teams across Amazon to define, build and test new data and

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field · 8+ years of program management experience, preferably in the technology sector · Proven success in building new programs in a high growth environment · Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills, · Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams · Excellent interpersonal skills; proven ability to guide cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management · Ability to think strategically while
