The primary responsibilities of this role are to work with customers and other members of the team to drive requirements and execution behind new services. You will work closely with other teams in the Azure ecosystem to build a first class cloud solution for the modern mobile and web developer. - Defining our roadmap and iteration plans (https://github.com/Microsoft/appcenter/wiki/Roadmap) - Establishing partnernships with internal Azure teams to build new backend solutions for client application developers. - Improving the fundamentals of the platform - Creating feature specifications in co-ordination with relevant engineering teams - Building prototypes and driving architectural design - Work cross-team with Azure, Office, Bing, Xbox, HoloLens, and large external Software Makers
Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of Software Program/Product Management experience - 2+ years of mobile software development experience Preferred qualifications: - Full-stack web development experience, or experience in improving the fundamentals of web/application/cloud platform(s) - Broad understanding of the mobile and web platforms, developer workflows, and tools ecosystem - Passion for working with customers and advocating for their requirements to be met by features Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
