Amazon’s Digital Commerce org builds customer experiences around ordering, subscriptions, device management, etc. that are then leveraged by teams including Alexa, Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible and other digital categories that customers love. Digital Commerce processes billions of transactions for digital purchases every year, and we are on a mission to be the earth’s best provider of one-time and recurring commerce, and post-purchase experience. With more new businesses being launched at Amazon with growing new features and business models, we are re-imagining and re-building commerce software architecture to make business innovation faster, easier and error-free. We are recruiting a Principal Product Manager - Technical to lead this charge. This is a highly visible role with the ability to meaningfully influence how commerce will take place for digital purchases and memberships for years to come. You will be diving deep into the technology product design from the perspectives of
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field · 10+ years of Product Management experience in a technical environment · Demonstrable experience in creating innovative software products, and in navigating ambiguity and uncertainty in design · Excellent written and oral communications skills, including experience communicating to executives. · High attention to detail and the ability to lead multiple, contending priorities simultaneously · General manager/owner mentality, entrepreneurial drive, and confirmed ability to influence others·
