Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched one of the most scalable and secure Cloud IoT platform in 2015. It is now expanding its product offering in new areas to help even more customers with their large-scale deployments of IoT devices. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager – Technical to be part of the AWS IoT Core team. This person will work closely with the leadership team both on the development side and business side to drive the next generation of critical pieces of a full IoT stack. For Amazon, the proliferation of connected devices presents a rare opportunity to establish higher-value, longer-term relationships with our existing cloud customers, and also engage new classes of customers. The more constrained a device in compute, storage, bandwidth or battery, the more heavily it relies upon other systems to execute logic, communicate with other devices, and record sensor and telemetry data. The aggregate volumes of data will produce substantial new cloud workloads. As a Principal
· Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience. · 10+ years of Product Management in charge of a specific product or product line · Proven track record of defining and shipping Cloud based products.· 5+ years of prior security experience in multiple domains (Network, Wireless, System/OS security) · AWS Experience · MBA or equivalent graduate level degree · Excellent written communication skills are extremely important, with a focus on translating technically complex issues into simple easy to digest documents · Familiarity with modern IT security
