Are you a builder looking to apply your big data expertise to redefine “data-driven?” Amazon FinTech is hiring a senior product leader with end-to-end ownership for storage, catalog, governance and access for one of the world’s largest, most complex financial data systems. Amazon‘s next generation of financial systems are providing a new level of insights that will inform every decision Amazon makes, as well as raising the bar for automation of and governance over financial reporting. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager with experience building customer-centric information products and a track record of delivery. You will partner with software development leaders to define the strategy, charter, and road map of multiple products. You will be the face of the financial data management strategy, synthesizing accounting, compliance and management needs into a cohesive strategy and communicating progress to senior technical and finance executives.
· Proven ability to design and implement successful, sustainable big data platforms, including data lake strategy and APIs for UIs and intelligent systems · Proven ability to manage a portfolio of cross-functional projects · Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
