Principal Product Manager,
The Principal Product Manager, Commercial Payments, will be a senior member of the leadership team of Business Payments, a new and rapidly growing line of business for Amazon.com. This position will be responsible for starting a new global business within Amazon whereby they will build a commercial payment disbursement product to make accounts payable payments on behalf of business customers. Any business can transmit to Amazon its accounts payable disbursement file from their accounting platform (i.e., SAP, ViewPoint, Oracle) and Amazon will generate the checks, electronic funds transfers or virtual card payments to the vendors and suppliers identified in the file. This product leader will work with product, engineering, data science, operations, sales and marketing from across Amazon to develop the business case, business requirements and technical solution for this new Commercial Payment Disbursement business. · Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or computer science · 7+ years product management and strategy experience · Have a strong track record of shaping business strategy for technical products or services · Have an entrepreneurial spirit · Have excellent collaborative skills as a leader· 10+ years of product design, development or management experience. Ideally experience in payments, or in strategy consulting firm (with a specialization in payments). · Deep experience in leading large and diverse cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver extraordinary results.
