Alexa is the name of the Amazon cloud-based service that powers devices that are designed around your voice, and helps redefine everyday convenience. Our vision is to create a simple, fun and natural voice-based experience – to set users free by giving them frictionless access to Alexa’s wealth of information and services. The Alexa Voice Services (AVS) team is looking for a Principal Product Manager to own the strategy and customer experience for accelerating our growth into a new vertical. In this role, you will be responsible for developing best-in-class experiences in a fast-paced environment, and using data to iterate and improve. You will work closely with science, engineering, and product management teams (internal and external) to successfully drive design from early concepts to launch. This role is equal parts category development and product definition/delivery. You will need to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic business environment – operating at all levels
· Bachelor's degree · 10+ years of relevant work experience · Experience solving problems using an analytical and data-driven approach · Experience delivering quantifiable results in a collaborative work environment spanning multiple (at least 3) teams/divisions · Accomplished range of skills from high-level strategic thinking to detailed analysis · High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously · Superior verbal and written communications skills · MBA · Experience with consumer electronics and/or offline retail
