Come and be a key technical contributor on the fast paced, high energy team responsible for developing Manufacturing Test Equipment solutions for Microsoft Devices such as Xbox, Kinect, HoloLens, Surface and Surface Hub. This is a Manufacturing System Architect position in a high-profile business for Microsoft. The Manufacturing Test System Architect will work with cross functional teams to define and development the next generation of test systems used for manufacturing test in our high-volume consumer products.

The successful candidate will drive defining and specifying our test engineering hardware systems, create high quality specifications, and work with development and test teams to deliver our systems to the factory. You will work with internal and external partners to help define and develop the technology in custom test equipment and our test control system SQL database. As a candidate for this role, you will ideally have a very strong background in systems engineering on a wide variety of systems, will have excellent technical and analytical skills, will have very strong written and verbal communication
Qualifications include: • 15+ years of related Electrical/Computer Engineering experience. • 5+ years of related Systems Engineering experience. • Experience focusing on both hardware and software systems development. • Experience with measurement system design, development and validation. • Experience with and understanding of Statistical Process Control and Measurement System Analysis. • Experience with medium to high volume as well as medium to high mix production environments. • Ability to use and adapt to new tools for Schematic capture, Circuit analysis and board design. • Experience desired
