Who are we? Together, we stand at the forefront of Microsoft's future to envision, create, and influence through grounded solutions to some of the toughest cross-product design challenges in the company. Our audience spans across production teams, executives, thought leaders inside and outside of Microsoft, and Fortune 1000 customers. We use a mix of physical spaces, community events, hardware and software prototypes, white papers, cinematic videos, and presentations to help us hone our understanding of difficult design challenges and communicate that back out to key stakeholders.

What will you do? Our team is growing and we're looking for a principal level storyteller and visual systems designer. You will play a pivotal role as an individual contributor storytelling and architecting across a broad range of systems level experiences. You will collaborate with a collective of storytellers, futurists, researchers, and prototypers. You must be an excellent experiential visual systems thinker and set the stage with strong visual, motion, and voice framing. You have a proven track record of building compelling visual systems as an individual contributor from start to finish.
Requirements: 15 years of hands on interaction design experience for software OS or large-scale service. Expertise in visual, motion, and audio systems design. Effective communicator and presenter. Bachelors is required, advanced degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media Design, Fine Arts or a related field. Work samples emphasizing design contributions and outcomes (portfolio review may be required) Proficiency with creating high-craft presentations and communication with executive audiences
