The Customer Insights Research team within EPIC is looking for a research lead to help us imagine the future of the Modern Life Consumer landscape for M365. The role includes working across org boundaries and disciplines, and ensuring EPIC's products (Windows, Edge, Notes and Tasks, MMX, and more) are thoughtfully included in solutions and new innovations as we consider how to best serve the needs of our consumers across Microsoft.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong strategic thinker who enjoys looking at holistic landscapes and relationships between products, uncovering the pressing questions and associated success criteria we need to answer in order to drive the business forward, and employing appropriate methodologies to uncover related insights and help address those questions. Types of research will range from qualitative insight and need gap generation, user journey understanding, to secondary source mining, concept valuation, compete, target audience identification, scenario/feature validation, customer engagement
Skills that will help make this role successful: 10+ years in user experience research, design research, product research or equivalent Minimum of 3 years managing and leading people A Master's degree in HCI, ethnography, cognitive or experimental psychology, sociology, business planning OR a BA/BS in one of the above fields with significant academic or industry experience.
