We’re looking for a talented and passionate Principal, Creative Director to play a vital role in shaping the products, branding, and programming for Amazon Music. Our ideal candidate has the ability to delight customers with their creative concepting and detailed art direction of visual designers, copywriters, motion and video designers, product designers, and sound designers. The candidate does this by solving customers’ problems and tapping into customers’ passions, emotions, cultural connections with music. Our ideal candidate knows how to work with and learn from Editors, Artists and Label Relations Managers, as well as Marketers, Product Managers, and even Engineers – while always steadfastly advocating for customers (music fans) and the Amazon Music brand. As a Principal, Creative Director, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of our customers and our internal teams – and defining design concepts, reference designs, and standards to powerfully meet those needs, as well

· 7-10+ years’ experience as a Creative Director, ECD, Design Director, Principal Designer or related role · Strong online portfolio and results in digital (web and app, if not also emerging platform and voice) work · Experience leading diverse Design teams through fast-paced, conceptual, strategic design work · Passion for creating inventive designs that elevate the brand and experience · Passion for designing for customer and business impact · Excellent communication and organizational skills · Experience pushing existing style guides in innovative ways· Deep passion for defining the future of
