We're looking for an outstanding Research Scientist who combines superb technical, research and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top-notch developers and collaborating with our research teams. In this role you will develop, implement and test flight controls supporting UAS. The ideal candidate will have fundamental knowledge of feedback control, dynamics, aerodynamics, design and analysis with some practical real-life implementation experience. Export Control License This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable

· Masters in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related field · Expertise in numerical methods and feedback control · Knowledge of software engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle · Experience in communicating with management, as well as technical and business teams to collect requirements, describe product features and technical designs· PhD Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or related field · Knowledge of fundamental aerodynamics theory · Ability to model and understand physics-based dynamics · Experience with simulation
