The Partner Technology Director (PTD) is a key leadership role within Microsoft's partner engagement strategy as part of the One Commercial Partner Organization. This role will lead the partner technology strategy, technical recruitment and engagement across the Microsoft Build-With Lifecycle and Deal specific technology engagements. The PTD manages teams of technical architects and strategists who will help secure partner's technical commitment to build practices and engage through the Microsoft Partner Journey Maps. In this role, the PTD will provide leadership to develop required solutions/practices and build partner capacity by working with the globally managed partner portfolio through the Microsoft Build-With lifecycle, from recruit to grow phases as well as to provide strategic leadership and oversight to our A14 communities. Partner Tech Engagement : Lead the partner tech engagement across the Microsoft Build-With lifecycle through a team of Partner Technology Specialists (PTS) and/or the Cloud Solution Architects (CAS-P). Partner portfolio includes the entire partner services ecosystem which is inclusive of Global Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers and Channel Partners managed at a global scale. Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, emerging computing trends and their impact on customer opportunities. Deep technology experience with Microsoft's three cloud solutions of Azure, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365. 10+ years of experience in partner technical management, technology solutions, practice development, partner channel development, and people management in the technology industry.
