Amazon is looking for an Operations Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own and execute cross-functional supply chain, operations, and transportation initiatives in the Americas, with a primary focus on Canada. This is a highly visible role that requires sound judgment and the ability to drive execution autonomously. This role requires developing strategic operations plans, scoping large projects, obtaining senior leadership approvals, managing to project timelines, and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and process changes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. You will be responsible for effectively managing a large number of stakeholders across the entire Amazon.com organization, including technology and non-technology teams, as well as external vendors and partners. Experience managing cross-border logistics projects or transportation in Canada is preferred. This role is located in Seattle,
· Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or similar field · 10+ years of progressive experience managing large scale cross-functional teams · Exceptional organizational skills · Proficiency with project management tools and processes · Proven ability to navigate between tech and non-tech teams · Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations· MBA Preferred · PMP certification is highly desirable · Canada logistics experience · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Strong analytical skills Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action
