As a CO+I Data Center Deployment Technician, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. As a successful OMC Data Center Deployment Technician (DDT), your performance objectives include: Empowering a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data center activities Establishing and enhance strong working relationships with customers Coordinate physical equipment install activities at remote un-manned site via 3 rd party technicians dispatched through multitude of tools and engagement channels Understanding overall ticket management process and adhere to deployment workflow/processes and standards set by CO+I Work off of signal coming from Azure and abstract Data Center
Basic Qualifications: Technical College degree or certification in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, or equivalent work experience Ability to understand and communicate technical details clearly with people from different technical and business background and skill levels 2 years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology Flexibility to work non-business hours occasionally that may include weekends and/or holidays Preferred Qualifications: Strong self-organizational and attention to detail skills Has self-starter and self-motivated open to change mindset.
