The Surface devices team is seeking qualified candidates for a lead display engineering position to develop next generation of displays. You will play an active role in display and system architecture definition and design, driving development through mass production including troubleshooting system problems, root-cause failure analysis of display issues, and proactively engaging with multiple tiers of suppliers, as well as Microsoft Sourcing, Test, and Manufacturing teams. We are seeking candidates with multiple levels and areas of experience including the following basic requirements: • Degree in display engineering, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, optics. • Proven display subject matter expertise in OLED/LCD panel design, front of screen quality definition, OLED materials and processing, Opto-electrical testing • Experience and deep technical knowledge in front-end LCD/OLED development including TFT layout and circuit simulation • Strong track-record of delivering products with extensive experience in display design, characterization, manufacturing
