Mechanical engineer supporting mechanical systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems and BAS (Building Automation System) designs serving Microsoft datacenters. Candidate will work with senior / principal engineers to manage, review and coordinate the delivery of datacenter mechanical systems, power distribution systems and backup power systems that support Microsoft datacenters. Candidate will also work on the technical review and analysis of the lease and colocation datacenter from external providers for compliance with Microsoft requirements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in engineering / consulting / construction engineering Minimum 2 years' experience with design, construction, operation or maintenance of large scale and complex mechanical engineering systems (Datacenters, Micro Electronics are two examples of relevant industries) Preferred Qualifications: Understand fundamentals of HVAC system design and psychrometrics Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations Ability to present using the MS Office Suite; MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Ability to
