The Microsoft 365 Partner Marketing team is looking for passionate marketing professional interested in growing the partner channel around security and compliance for Microsoft 365. Microsoft 365 represents a multibillion-dollar business opportunity for partners to participate in selling, customizing and managing modern workplace solutions. Partners play a pivotal role in assisting customers bring their mission critical activities from traditional on premises IT managed installations to cloud deployments. Microsoft's partner community is in the middle of a generational transformation from transactional sellers to full managed service providers. This role is focused on assisting our partners build the strategies, go to market plans, technical competencies and selling mechanisms needed to succeed in developing specialized practices in security and compliance leveraging the power of Microsoft 365. Specific areas of business strategy ownership for this role include... • Drive strategy for helping partners be successful deploying Microsoft's latest advanced security and compliance workloads associated with Microsoft 365 • Build business models and technical training plans in collaboration with engineering to foster both great partner sales of Microsoft 365 E5 and services offerings to help customers deploy • Align execution with Microsoft's partner field organization, the One Commercial Partner Team (OCP) and engineering feature teams • Be the business group (BG) sponsor for launching the
This role requires an individual capable of working across engineering, marketing, finance, legal and the Microsoft field organization to coordinate the integration of new partner capabilities into security and compliance programs. The individual in this role will spend significant amount of their time interacting directly with Microsoft's top partners to prepare them to sell and service Microsoft's latest offerings around cloud based security, ensuring customers are meeting the latest industry compliance regulations such as GDPR.
