As Manager of
Amazon is looking for a talented, experienced, and innovative business leader for Tools business. Joining the Amazon team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment. As Manager of Vendor Management, you will take a leadership role to drive a large business towards the next phase of growth and will own all aspects of their business, including building key partnerships, adding selection, negotiations, planning marketing and promotions, and driving better product availability through operational improvements. You will lead as an individual contributor managing multiple high-priority projects, as well as manage and develop a strong team. The candidate must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all executive levels of these organizations, with relevant experience in cultivating relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and managing multiple
· Bachelor Degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience in retail or e-commerce desired · Buying/planning, operations, or finance background · Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools · Experience in building partnerships at senior management level · Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and vendor management experience · Experience with business analysis and expertise in Excel. · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation · Experience in building and developing high performance teams · Track record of taking ownership
