We are looking for a Manager, Instock Management to support AmazonFresh and Prime Now. You will own developing business plans and oversee supply chain and inventory management. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the businesses. A successful Manager, Instock Management must: · Driving strategic negotiations with external vendors. · Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved instock, inventory planning, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time), forecasting, and shrink reduction · Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the business · Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability · Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows · Lead a team of instock managers
· Bachelor’s degree · 8+ years’ experience in general management, consulting, operations, project management, IT, retail, consulting and/or finance · Proficiency in Excel· MBA · Strong proficiency in business intelligence, including creation of complex queries using SQL, validation of data sets, and distillation of data into actionable insights · Strong proficiency in Excel · Demonstrated ability to own and deliver results · Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems · Refined written communication ability
