The Alexa Voice Service (AVS) team is looking for a Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager to build and maintain end to end analytics solutions to help drive business decisions. This individual will manage a team of BI and data engineers and business analysts that provides reporting, analysis and insights to key stakeholders across the broader AVS organization – including product management, marketing, business development, partner management, engineering, finance and executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a track record of building teams that span both business and technical competencies, gathering business requirements and creating BI and analytics solutions that have measureable customer impact, and demonstrating exemplary written and verbal communication skills. S/he will need to be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and be able to lead a team to innovate and think big, while diving deep to meet our bar for quality
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, related technical field, or equivalent work experience. · 5+ years of years of relevant work experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, market research or related field · 7+ years professional experience (experience in consumer-facing industry preferred) · Experience building and delivering large-scale analytics and reporting systems with highly satisfied customers. · Experience in roadmap planning, project prioritization, dependency and resource management – with excellent attention to detail. · Experience
