We are building intelligent software using computer vision, machine learning, and sensor fusion on top of the bleeding edge of sensor and robotics technology in order to make fulfillment more reliable, faster, and less costly, providing a better and less expensive experience for our customers. We do work that impacts hundreds of Fulfillment Centers (FCs), thousands of associates, and millions of customers. The ideal candidate enjoys having the freedom to innovate in an ambiguous space, possesses analytical, design and problem-solving skills and is experienced with perception systems for localization, mapping, object detection and obstacle avoidance using computer vision, machine learning and deep learning.
· M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning or related discipline. · Understanding of Machine Learning, algorithms and computational complexity · Experience implementing algorithms using existing computer vision toolkits and self-developed code · Detailed knowledge of Deep Learning technologies. · Theory and practice of experiment design and statistical analysis. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Strong problem-solving ability and dealing with ambiguity · Ph. D in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning or related fields with
