The team is chartered to build large scale systems to power the Live Video platform viewed by a massive audience daily, and you will help bring customers streaming video experience to a new level. Our platform is evolving on Amazon's cloud computing infrastructure (AWS) and have opportunities to interact with teams inside and outside the organization, plus to work on a variety of video devices such as the Kindle Fire, Fire TV,, gaming consoles, Internet-connected smart TVs, BD Players, set-top-boxes, and mobile devices. As a Support Engineer for Live Video platform, you will help onboarding infrastructure to support thousands
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline · 3+ years of increasing responsibility working as a support engineer · 2+ years with Unix/Linux operating systems · 2+ years of programming and/or scripting (Java, Perl, Ruby, HTML, C#, and/or PHP) and working knowledge of software used to develop in these languages· Prior experience in live video streaming · Knowledge in AWS is a plus. · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Strong customer focus · Ability to juggle many tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment · Self-starter who is excited
