The team is chartered to design large scale systems to power the Prime Video viewed by a massive audience daily, and you will help bring customers streaming video view experience to a new level. You will develop the service to run on Amazon's cloud computing infrastructure (AWS) and have opportunities to interact with teams inside and outside the organization, plus to work on a variety of video devices such as the Kindle Fire, Fire TV, Fire phone, game consoles, Internet-connected TVs, BD Players, set-top-boxes, and mobile devices. You will need to have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences,
· Degree in Computer Science or related field · 3+ years of product development experience in consumer-focused companies · 3+ years of technical experience as software developer, or related role · Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design · Computer Science fundamentals in data structures · Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis · Experience developing in at least one of Java, C++, Python · Ability to work on a diverse team· Experience with critical, 24x7 systems · Experience with high throughput, multi-threaded systems · Experience
