MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Company: Amazon.com Services, Inc., an Amazon.com company Position Title: Legal Counsel II Location: Seattle, Washington Position Responsibilities: Provide product counseling, go-to-market support, and input and counsel on business and strategy and on commercial transactions related to Amazon device and digital services businesses. Provide legal advice and guidance in connection with commercial deals and legal and regulatory matters, both in the U.S. and internationally, related to the development, launch, and distribution of products. Review and advise on marketing and promotional materials, and coordinate with product, marketing, and legal teams to prepare customer-facing terms and messaging. Provide ongoing legal counseling in the areas of intellectual property, consumer law, competition law, technology, digital media, and regulatory compliance.
Position Requirements: Juris Doctorate or foreign equivalent and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. One year of experience in the position offered or related occupation must involve: employment with a top national or international law firm; analysis of regulatory requirements, and the implications of regulatory changes for ongoing compliance; providing legal advice, guidance, and contractual interpretation in connection with commercial agreements and their implementation; reviewing and advising regarding marketing and promotional materials and customer-facing messaging;
