MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Company: Amazon.com Services, Inc., an Amazon.com Company Position Title: IT Application Analyst III Location: Seattle, WA Position Responsibilities: Own the design, implementation, and extension of applications by performing business systems analysis. Gather and define requirements, perform gap analysis to determine system configuration and development changes, and provide functional design of application extensions. Interact with customers to understand and document business processes and requirements, as well as work with business and development teams to design and implement system modifications. Create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents, and implementation documents. Research, document, and resolve system issues, as well as troubleshoot, develop metrics, and create ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or as a System Analyst, Software Engineer or Developer, or related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a System Analyst, Software Engineer or Developer, or related occupation as equivalent to Master’s degree and two years of experience.
