Amazon is seeking a curious, intuitive, high-judgment, and self-motivated communications professional to join our internal operations communications team. This individual will drive the internal communications strategy in partnership with senior Operations and HR leaders for Amazon’s Global Specialty Fulfillment network including Prime Now, Pantry, Sort Centers, and other businesses. The position will provide support for Operations associates through clear, factual communications and will provide strategic communication counsel to cross-functional partners on a wide range of complex topics. As a manager on the internal operations communications team, you will drive strategy for the business-specific editorial calendar; manage issues, changes, and crisis communications; and execute on strategic employee communications, programs and experiences across the business. · Bachelor’s degree · 4+ years of public relations or retail operations services experience · Internal communications experience within a national company or logistics/retail company · Experience building robust communications programs and delivering results · Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are a must, with the ability to think and communicate clearly, formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues, and create a concise and well-written narrative; · Internal communications experience with logistics, operations, or retail · Change management or issues management experience
