We are looking for an intern to join our Global Sustainability organization on the Energy and Environment team. In this role, you will partner with members of Amazon’s renewable energy team to analyze and execute green tariff opportunities available from Amazon’s utility providers in support of Amazon’s renewable energy strategy. This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, technical environment. At the core of the position is high attention to detail, and delivering high quality results on time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · ­ Scientific mindset and the ability to invent, excellent creative problem solving skills · ­ Ability to understand utility rates and tariffs as applied to Amazon building operations · ­ Modeling ability to analyze the financial value of priority renewable energy
