Our Infrastructure expansion
AWS is continually expanding the data center regions where we host our services to serve our current and future customers. Our Infrastructure expansion planning organization plans our region expansions in new and existing geographies. Complexity of determining our expansion strategy in a new location varies and ultimately depends on a number of technical, financial, and local environmental factors that need to be weighed and considered to determine the best approach, timelines for delivery, and long term growth strategy to scale to meet AWS customer needs. Typical factors include launch footprint, expected demand and capacity utilization, networking topology and cost, and utility infrastructure delivery and costs, but they also include regulatory changes impacting demand or supply options, tax impact on supply chain and profitability, security risks, and other elements of the business or political environment that impact our business. This position is responsible for driving key decisions

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university · 10+ years' experience working in data center product or program management and partnering with cross functional teams i.e. technical, commercial sales, policy, finance, and legal · Experience with high value, complex contract negotiations across relevant IT categories (e.g. data center, colocation, fiber, real estate, energy, incentives, transit) · Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and risk management · Experience driving decisions with executive-level corporate business leaders,
