The Human Resources Business Insights (HRBI) Team supports Microsoft HR's global businesses by applying a data driven decision making approach to Microsoft's most important asset - our people. We currently have an opening for a Solution Manager on the team creating and maintaining the self-service reporting and analytic tools that Microsoft HR teams around the globe use for making evidence-based people decisions. The Solution Manager in HRBI plays an important role in researching and understanding the needs of the users of the HRBI standard reporting and analytic platform. They employ a user centric approach to shape the system road map and create the requirements which inform feature development. Solution Managers facilitate acceptance testing, perform change management and provide end user training. They are natural collaborators with the ability to work with and represent multiple stakeholders, but also the confidence and ability to work autonomously. They excel as a communicator and

• Integrate existing data and reports into new HR reporting platform, including dataset, security profiles, feature usage, and design standards • Function as a trusted technical advisor to leadership, and other stakeholder groups • Recommend improvements or enhancements to user experience, based on feedback or the availability of new technical solutions or features • Effectively plan, contract and communicate with customers, partners, and co-workers to define deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities • Lead user studies to identify behavior, define expected outcomes, and create intuitive pathways
Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work.• BA/BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or similar field of study • 5+ years verifiable experience in a business analyst, product owner, or solution manager role focusing on corporate IT solutions (preferably in an HR setting) • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries • Exceptional business analysis skills (CBAP or PMI-PBA certification preferred) • Experience with SQL databases and Power
